Since fund orders only trade once a day, it is normal for your trade to take a while longer to be reflected in your investment portfolio. Different funds have different cut-off times though most trade by late morning or early afternoon. This means that any orders placed later on in the day will, in all likelihood, be dealt the following day and reflected thereafter.
