For non-SEPA transfers, the following applies:

When making a non-SEPA transfer, and the receiving bank falls outside the EEA, you can choose between two available payment charge types:  'Shared (SHA)' and 'Originator (OUR)'

Shared (SHA)
When selecting the "Shared" payment option, the cost of the payment is divided between you and the recipient: you pay your bank's fees, and the recipient pays theirs. This means that with the "Shared" option, your bank transfer cost from Moneybase is €5 (or currency equivalent), while the recipient will be responsible for covering their bank's fees.

Originator (OUR)
By selecting the "Originator" payment option, you cover both your bank's fees and the recipient's bank fees. The total cost for this option is €17.50, which includes both sets of fees.

When sending a non-SEPA transfer , and the receiving bank falls within the EEA the payment charge type will be 'Shared (SHA)'.

Shared (SHA)

The "Shared" payment fee divides the cost between you and the recipient: you pay your bank's fees, and the recipient pays theirs. However, we have eliminated your portion of the fee. This means that with the "Shared" option, your bank transfer cost from Moneybase is €5 (or currency equivalent), while the recipient will be responsible for covering their bank's fees.
